Our Volunteers

Volunteering for the Triangle Radio Reading Service gives you an opportunity to make a difference in the community!

At TRRS, volunteers are the foundation of this wonderful 30 year old organization.  The successes of TRRS are largely due to our dedicated and long term volunteers, one of whom has been with us for 28 of our 30 years!  Thank you Bob Kruger!

Our volunteers are not only readers and recorders, they also provide administrative support in the office, lend technical expertise, work with community outreach, train fellow volunteers, serve on special event and other committees, and more!

There are many opportunities to support the reading service as a volunteer.  We thank our more than 150 volunteers that contributed 13,010 hours of service during FY 2011-2012.

For more information, see How to Become a TRRS Volunteer, or call May Tran at 919-832-5138, or e-mail her at may@trrsnc.org.

A Special THANK YOU to our Longest-Term Volunteers!
